Welcome to the Humphrey Institute Words of Wisdom Project!

Thanks for visiting the blog! As we all have learned, the best resource for navigating our way through classes, finding great internships, and successfully landing a job is the words of wisdom we collect from our fellow classmates. This blog has been established as a space where current Humphrey students can pass along the information that next year's incoming class needs to know about professors, courses, working while in school, and all that other stuff we learned from each other as well as through the school of hard knocks.

Every few days I will post a new topic, share some of my own thoughts, and then pose some questions for people to answer the comments section. I am also open to opening things up for guest blog entries as well.

A few rules of the road:

1. This is a public space being hosted by a member of the Public Affairs Student Association. While the goal is to maintain a spirit of candor, please don't post anything derogatory or otherwise embarrassing to yourself or the Institute. Such content will be removed on the discretion of the host.

2. Keep postings on topic. Topic suggestions are always welcome, but maybe wait until the topic comes up before starting a comment string about it. This will make it easier for the incoming students to search the different postings by topic.

3. Try to be as specific as you can about stuff. Tell stories. Post links. Make your entries interesting!

That's basically it! Thanks again for visiting....
